Thank you @eliteassisting for sharing this super important post on your Instagram account! It really made me think about how this has become the reality and what we can do to change it. What is causing Hispanic women to remain at the bottom of this chart? How can we empower women to go out there and seek the same ranks as men / women of other races?
For me, representation is everything - seeing is believing. If young girls don't see women in high position being #girlbosses, they'll struggle to believe that they can reach those ranks. This is especially important for minorities! I do think we are moving in the right direction but women need to continue to be confident and speak up for what they deserve. The truth is society (and especially the corporate world) is not favorable to women so the prospect of putting yourself out there can be terrifying and that itself can keep us from moving up in these ranks.
Please share your thoughts - I'd love to hear more perspectives!
As you all are well aware, being an EA means that you're the main person everyone runs to with their problems. While there is nothing wrong with this, I was wondering what some of you do in instances where you're a part of a team that is on the brink of destruction and what can you do as an EA to get these different personalities get along?
